Scopes

This is the most personal element of your shooting kit... for most people their scopes will stay with them whilst rifles come and go, so if this is your first purchase, take advice before rushing in!

Your final choice of scope will be determined by its intended use and how much you want to spend, but the three major factors you will need to take into consideratiuon are; magnification (fixed or variable), body diameter and reticule.

Osprey can supply all major manufacturer's optics, including Nightforce, Leupold, Zeiss, March and Weaver.

Bipod / Front Rests

If your rifle is a competition rifle for F T/R or F Class then you will need one of these.

Bipods have evolved in parallel with the F Class rifles themselves, the model illustrated here is made by Sinclair International in the USA, but many excellent bipods are being made by smaller, UK, manufacturers.

Scope Bases

Savage rifles come pre tapped for mounting scope bases.

These can be supplied with a built in slope to allow scopes with less adjustment to be used at longer range, and can be either a single or two piece design.

Scope Rings

These will of course depend on the diameter of the scope you intend to use and the size of its objective lens.  The options here include rings that have adjustable inserts, allowing you to put even more elevation or windage onto your scope.
